August 12 Rain, heat and sweat, it's hard to imagine that it will soon be cold. It is mid august and the elk hunters are preparing for their trips to the mountains. There; the mornings are cool and even though the afternoon will get above 70 the humidity is very low. This morning on my walk it was 66, but it felt cooler inside at 73! All to often we cannot wait for change and are impatient at the way things are. But CHRIST has promised a new and different land ahead. Those who have become comfortable in this world may never see the 'land flowing with milk and honey'. That term is used very often to describe a new and marvelous place ahead for those that BELIEVE and TRUST. The future holds many mysteries, but those who TRUST in the LORD know that the best is ahead of us. Even though times are uncomfortable today, tomorrow may be the beginning of paradise. TRUST in something greater than yourself! God bless you.

August 11 The other day I went on a ride to check out some public hunting areas. When I had reached the plateau above the river, there were millions of butterflies in the hay fields. While riding along I was amazed at how GOD had timed such a mystical trip. Yesterday there were still plenty of butterflies in the hay fields, but not nearly the numbers that I had saw previously. GOD'S timing is impeccable. Everything has it's time and place. We can experience times of 'heaven on earth'. And I have visited and hunted places that I thought may very well be closely related to heaven, but when the real HEAVEN is revealed, I am sure that there will be no comparison. GOD'S 'real thing' is beyond compare to what we can only imagine. Oh for the day we are called 'up yonder' and the true beauty is revealed! May your HOPE and TRUST be in THE FATHER, so you to may witness HIS GLORY. GOD bless you.

August 10 With the news, we hear each day. it would be easy to be distracted from a good life. But GOD tells us, "For I know the plans I have for you. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." When we pray, HE listens. When we seek, we will find, if we seek in earnest. HIS plans are great and marvelous, if we would only TRUST HIM. The more we put ourselves first, the farther behind we will become. We are made to GLORIFIY GOD. The more we accept the false, the artificial, the farther we separate from GOD. Come home, back to the LORD of all. Seek HIS face and everything else will be provided. Look for what HE has given and ask if you have been worthy. GOD bless you.

August 9 Yesterday my grandson came down and got some of his camo hunting clothes. He brought a new air soft gun that we sighted in. I am amazed at how fast these guns will shoot those tiny ping pong balls. Nearly 450 FPS! I'm sure that they sting when hit by one, as they went through a cardboard box. How thankful I am that these young folks can 'play war' and not have to do the real thing, like other parts of the world. The BIBLE talks of wars and rumors of wars, famine, and mysterious happening with the weather. There isn't a day that the news isn't reporting these very things! We can 'play' at life, having fun and enjoyment, but we must also be serious about CHRIST'S return and how we are going to stand before GOD and present our case.
Knowing the TRUTH and BELIEVING GOD'S WORD opens a new realm of reality. GOD bless you.

August 8 A democrat once said, "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country."  Spoken when things were not in confusion and chaos. When a party stood for exactly what the same party is against today. It reminds me of those verses that say how things will turn from one thing to another. "Right will become wrong and wrong will become right."  "The blind leading the blind!" Strange how things have changed in 50 years. Stranger yet that man cannot seem to see that change. GOD'S WORD has not changed! It remains true. Even when men's words are long forgotten, his actions have reverted to involuntary motions, contradiction and mistrust at every corner, GOD remains the same. HE will do what HE has said. HE is constant at what HE wants from mankind. Turn to GOD from the chaos around us, take the HAND of GOD and watch the world as it spins wildly. Take ahold of the ROCK. Relying on men will be a failure, rely only on GOD. 

August 6 At the fair a hog is given a blue ribbon, then days latter is loaded up and sent to slaughter. They are here only a short time; we are on earth only a short time! JESUS said, we are as sheep being led to slaughter. Are lives are short without any planning, we follow our sinful nature. A nature that we all have. We do not need any training to be bad, it comes to us naturally, like a pig turns toward the mud. When we give our lives to CHRIST we become a new being. We develop the attitude of CHRIST with the GIFT'S of the SPIRIT. Can GOD be SEEN in you and me? Or is only the filth of wallowing in this world visible? May we each be viewed more worthy than a ribbon. May GOD bless you.

August 5 As we drank the cup that was a representation of CHRIST'S BLOOD, it was a thick almost cinnamon taste and the pastor said, that isn't grape juice! It was nearly a laugh out loud moment to a solemn ceremony. All too often we get surprises along this walk-through life. We expect one thing and get another. We plan ahead and lose at the moment. Things surprise us and our best laid plans go up in smoke as the world turns in a different direction. Too often we question why and struggle to reassert our best-efforts. Although we may question many things, we can stand assured that GOD'S WORD remains constant and true. HE says and does, exactly what has been told. There will be no surprises to those who search HIS WORD. It is good to know that we won't need to question what the future holds for those who BELIEVE. But what a shock for the ones that will not take FAITH. Become steadfast in the value of GOD'S WORD. Remain FAITHFUL to the truths that lead us HOME. GOD bless you.   

August 4 Our culture has an effect on many. It rules their choices of clothing and actions. It demands the way each of us act and talk. To be different than the 'status quo' brings ridicule. But those who believe in GOD have an offensive weapon that cannot be defeated. The WORD of GOD and with HIS WORD we can transform the culture around us. Standing on GOD'S WORD requires no more than knowing the ONE that wrote it. Reading what was written and honoring the pages of TRUTH. We can either become slaves to the world or open the doors to free those who are captured. We each have a role to play, may we be an individual that stands in TRUTH.  May GOD bless you.

August 3 Just as GOD told Jeremiah, we also are told, "For I am with you, I will deliver you." We may feel lost and incompetent of the task ahead. But HIS TRUTH to us says that we can go where ever HE sends us and speak whatever HE tells us!  We are only fools if we speak on our own and act outside HIS GUIDANCE. We watch as much of the world acts like fools, following their own thoughts and declaring their intensions. But their nonsense is found out as thy contradict themselves and become lost in their lies. There is only ONE TRUTH, only one GOD. Everything else is a lie, presented by the one that crawls on his belly and pretends to be a god! Satan has spoken to GOD, he knows the truth, yet he tells us a lie. He knows GOD is real, yet he tells us that God is dead. Satan knows that GOD wants to save us from damnation and yet he draws us away toward the same damnation awaiting him. It is time to act on what we know and NOT believe that serpent. Become a warrior for the LORD, unafraid and protected by the BLOOD of CHRIST. Only in HIS TRUTH can we see through this false world. GOD bless you.

August 2 Last night we went to the Iowa Speedway to watch a car race. During that race I thought of the years of auto development and the years of the 60s and 70s when cars began to get bigger engines and more horse power and became the fixation of a nation. Certainly, the fixation of many a teenage boy. Songs were written and sung about the glory of brands and engines and the power of each. Today that fixation seems to be dwindling, the songs but a memory the crowds have lessened and the teenage boy has turned toward electronics. Time goes on while it does not remain the same. One thing that will never change is CHRIST'S love for us or HIS WORD! It will remain the same, a constant for eternity. Although human minds may look for 'the next big thing', the biggest thing remains the same. Man may search but GOD has already delivered. HE has the power to blow away the competition both now and FOREVER ! May GOD bless you.

August 1 While walking this morning, I looked ahead to where I was going and thought, wouldn't it be good to just suddenly be there. This happened to several of the prophets, they were suddenly transported to a different location. Maybe I'm just lazy and would not benefit from that mystical transportation. Just as those who think that they will magically, appear in heaven without any of the preparation here on earth. The destination can be seen ahead. Where we arrive is up to us. We will not just arrive; it takes work to remain FAITHFUL to our GOAL. Each step is a learning example of that eternal journey. And then, that flight to our ETERNAL HOME will be "in the blink of an eye." GOD bless you.

July 31 The world's sin is unbelief in JESUS CHRIST. We are the ones who stray away like sheep! We leave GOD'S paths to follow our own. Yet GOD laid our guilt on CHRIST for HIM to bear.  A GIFT to us, that if we believe in GOD'S SON, we are viewed innocent! How can we explain such a gift? Free to us, waiting for us to just accept it. Yet to many just allow the GIFT to lay there. Turning down what is ETERNAL JOY in exchange for the moment and eternal suffering. Unable to grasp what the GIFT is for.  The sin of the world is unbelief. Don't allow yourself to be drawn away from what you know is right. STAND on the BELIEF that CHRIST died to give us. Join with THE ONE that over- came the world, RECEIVE the GIFT HE offers. GOD bless you.

July 30 "The fields are ripe unto harvest." Today's thought is of thanks. Thanks to GOD for allowing the opportunity to send HIS WORD to over 100,000 every day. Thanks to my former employer for supplying the means to continue in this message. And thanks to those who read these words and pass them on. The world remains a field ready for harvest and the workers are few. We can do so much more! GOD can provide a lot out of nothing. It just takes our stepping forward to make the wheel begin to turn. From witnessing one on one to Ministery in prisons, there is something that YOU can do that is an intricate part of GOD'S WORK. Thank you for changing your life to spread HIS WORD. GOD will bless you! JESUS said. "I will send you a comforter.  And you must also tell everyone about me, because you have been with me." GOD bless you.

July 29 Just as the disciples "Noticed how many prophecies of Scripture had come true before their eyes," after CHRIST had returned to HIS GLORY in HEAVEN, we too often see the things being fulfilled around us. Just as then, "Despite all the miracles HE had done, most of the people would not BELIEVE HE was the MESSIAH." As Isaiah had said, "Who would accept GOD'S MIRACLES as proof?" Without knowing and looking toward the fulfillment of GOD'S WORD we are as ignorant as animals. Maybe even more so, because animals react with the instincts they were given, men often do not! Understanding the WORDS that are spoken and seeing them transformed into reality, separates those who believe, from those who do not. Look forward to what has been told, the future is in the WORD. Find it and BELIEVE it. GOD bless you.

July 28 Why has the WORD of GOD become lost in today's world? Because we have failed to do as we are asked. "One generation makes known your faithfulness to the next", was the command. Our response was silence, failing to teach our young the VALUE of GOD. We teach how to play games on the LORD'S Day or watch tv instead of reading and understanding. Clearly, we have strayed away from our instruction. It is not too late to regain our foothold as parents to show the WAY toward GOD. Why should it be so hard to save instead of destroying? Is it too hard to lead to salvation or better to guide to their ETERNAL loss. Are we guilty of such laziness that we allow our young to enter hell without an attempt to save them? "One generation makes known your faithfulness to the next." May GOD bless you.

July 27 "Search the BOOK of the LORD and see all that HE will do, not one detail will HE will miss. HIS SPIRIT will make it all come true." Yet men fail to read or obey, thus they lead themselves to the wide and well-traveled road that leads away from GOD. They follow their own ideas and myths and not Gods." Take the time to read, take a moment to understand the TRUTH within the cover. Until you do that, you are living a lie. Don't be strong headed and neglect what would SAVE you. "The truth will set you free." GOD bless you.

July 26 While elk hunting in Colorado in 2018, I met a man and his family that turned out to be one of the most interesting people on earth. He had started on a quest to harvest most of the species of big game on earth. When he was young and had the vision, he went to the 'club', that could help him, but because he was young and not 'filthy' rich, was put down and scoffed at. That made him all the more certain to accomplish such an amazing feat. So, at a young age he started on the family farm with deer and turkey. Then with a dark beard and hair he went for other species as he could, traveling all over the world. This past week with white hair and beard, along with his loving wife, he completed the life quest. How glad I am to know a person with such drive and unfailing spirit! We all have special drives within us. Let our hearts drive to be a FAITHFUL SERVANT of GOD. Unwavering and looking forward. Rejecting defeat, mockery and trials. As our hair grows white and our steps become shorter, let us strive only toward our goal. The ETERNAL LIFE and TRUTH of JESUS CHRIST, our REDEEMER and GOD. May GOD be with each who is on the quest to reach HIS FAVOR. Congratulations and GOD bless.

July 25 "The world staggers like a drunkard, it shakes like a tent in a storm." Unable to find the TRUTH and when it does, unable and unwilling to believe it, the people would sooner believe and in fact choose to chase after what is artificial and disregard what is real. What hope is there for a world that would choose to follow such dreams? Wars, rumors of wars, droughts, storms, earthquakes and destruction. The earth itself refusing to give abundant fruits, because of unbelief. How is this so, you may ask? Because the BIBLE, the VERY WORD OF GOD says that it will be that way. Not over night or in an instant, but over time. Nations and leaders moved, people, pandemics, moving masses away from truth into darkness. The light ignored, the darkness followed. Look around at the beauty that remains and contemplate the things lost by unbelief. There may be time to reconstruct, a moment to rebuild the TRUTH to the lost. If we TURN our HEARTS to the LORD.  GOD bless you.

July 24 Last evening our A.C quit working and when the house reached 81 degrees i was miserable. My wife was comfortable however. Funny how each individual is structured, we each have our own way of coping. When I was young, I could work in the heat and it didn't bother me but after having malaria while serving in Vietnam, those days are over and sweat starts at 72! During the sleepless night I thought that I am glad that my SAVIOUR has rescued my soul from the clutches of hell. Why? I am still unable to grasp the MAJESTY of HIS LOVE and FORGIVENESS for those who turn to HIM. What a wonderful gift for such a unworthy person. HIS MERCY extends to ALL who would come to HIM. HE turns no one away that seeks. While this heat may last but a short time, hell is for eternity. Thank GOD I know my home is not there, but FOREVER with CHRIST. My hope is that you too will be confident in where forever finds you. May GOD bless you.

July 23 We have banks, saving and loans, we have the federal reserves and many other financial institutions that deal with money. But the BIBLE asks, "Where will your treasures be safe?" There is nowhere on this earth that we can put our treasure that it will be safe from eventual destruction. Be it mold, fire, theft or decay, it will be gone in time. There is only one place that we can store up treasures that will last forever. "To whom will you turn for your help?" Only GOD will be able to help with those investments of a lifetime. Only HE can keep our treasures safe for ETERNITY. Those treasures are not gold or silver but the HOPE and FAITH of what is to come and the value that FAITH entrusts. Place all those that you hold dear into the waiting hands of the FATHER, only in HIM will there be EVERLASTING PROTECTION. GOD bless you.

July 22 All you have to do is turn on the news, any channel will be spreading the reports that were told about many years ago by Isaiah. "And the worst sort of anarchy will prevail, everyone stepping on someone else, neighbors fighting neighbors, youth revolting against authority, criminals sneering at honorable men." Yet the masses fail to see the HAND of GOD at work, preparing for the END that was written about in the WORD OF GOD! Blindly they head each day closer to the doom that awaits them. "As sheep led to slaughter" without a clue of what lies ahead. Hearing but not understanding! Can you see the advancement? Can you be a WITNESS for the LORD? Are you informed enough to 'bare witness' to what is true or false? Many question what is false and what is true, what is artificial and what is real. Do not be led away from the TRUTH, the WORD of GOD! Stand firmly on the solid ground of FAITH. Pass on the WORD of SALVATION and GOD'S BLESSINGS.

July 21 "All they needed to do was trust HIM to SAVE them. All those who BELIEVE are REBORN, not a physical rebirth,  resulting from human passion or plan, but from the WILL of GOD." There is only one thing that mankind is supposed to accomplish in the years they are on this earth, to BELIEVE in GOD. We seem to be able to do some great and mighty things, but the hardest it seems, is to BELIEVE. May our TRUST and FAITH become strong and our voice become as shouting from a barren wilderness, "Get ready for the coming of the LORD!" For we do not know the day or the hour, but we DO know that HIS return is eminent. Prepare the way, make ready, the hour is near, BELIEVE on the LORD JESUS CHRIST and you will be saved. All we need to do is TRUST HIM to save us! GOD bless you.

July 20 Yesterday my grandson and I went fishing. As we were on the river, I remembered many of the times we were there before. The one time when my granddaughters, 'Barbie' pole went overboard when she had a large bite, still brings a laugh to my heart, although hers was broken. "It is a wonderful thing to be alive! If a person lives to be very old, let them rejoice in every day of life, but let them also remember that eternity is far longer and that everything down here is futile in comparison." For GOD will judge everything we do! I could hardly stand after several hours in the boat, but soon my youth will return and my infancy in eternity will begin. Everything, beginning anew. BE READY FOR ETERNITY!  GOD bless you.

July 19 We all have a memory loss from time to time. Some more than others and some have a name attached to them. But regardless of how we sometimes don't remember very well, looking at pictures will jog our memories. People used to have cameras and took lots of pictures, today most just pull out their phones. Regardless of how your memories are stored. Take time to look through them, remember those days and store those thoughts. I have the kids and grandkids first hunts and fishing trips where ever I look. Take time to look at the CROSS and REMEMBER the BLOOD and life given for us and REJOICE that we can still remember why. GOD bless you.

July 18 While walking in the much cooler and lower humidity this morning, I could not keep the old hymn out of my mind. I am sure that most people have heard it and have sung these words at Easter time. "HE lives, HE lives, CHRIST JESUS lives today." That realness is far too great to set aside for one particular time of year! "HE walks with me and talks with me"...as I walk along, indeed HE is ALIVE. HE alone has salvation to impart to all who heed HIS VOICE and repent and follow. HIS hand of mercy leads along both the dreary and fulfilling times. Yes, HE lives! If you ask me how I know HE lives, I repeat what the hymn states, HE lives within my heart! That cannot be erased! So, I hope that for a moment today you too will sing, at least in your minds and hearts, that HE LIVES! For HE lives for ETERNITY, wanting YOU to join HIM in that GLORIOUS city that HE is preparing. May GOD bless you.

July 17 "Watch out! Don't let MY sudden coming catch you unaware and occupied with the problems of this life, like the rest of this world. Keep constant watch. Pray that it is possible you may arrive in MY PRESENCE without having to experience these horrors." CHRIST gave the message to be watchful, look toward HIS return. Today we hear the words "Life remains the same as it has always been." And it is true that history repeats itself. But CHRIST asks us to be watchful for those signs that were 'predicted by the ancient prophets' these things will take place. Yes, this earth will pass away, yet GOD'S WORD will remain forever TRUE. Look toward the sky and be prepared for the change that rocks the world. Don't be left behind with unbelief. May GOD be with us.

July 16 "For GOD, who knows ALL hearts, knows YOURS and HE knows you knew! And HE will reward everyone according to his deeds."  There will be no grading on a curve. No one held by the judgement of others. No judgement of a group or lowering the ruling because of one's race! We will ALL be judged by the ONE PERFECT JUDGE and inside we all know it. We all understand the way that we will be judged. We hide behind a false wall; a make-believe partition of made-up ideas that lower the penalty we will be given. But those who think that, are misled by their own mindful knowledge of TRUTH. We cannot deny the truth, we cannot change the verdict, we can only change our lives to meet the criteria of the MASTER. HIS judgement is fair and we know it. Our only HOPE is in HIS WORD and our desire to FOLLOW. When we know that HE knows, our lives change. GOD bless you.

July 15 Through the years I have done some stupid things. Most of the time I knew better but wanted to do them anyway. Then one day all the teaching that I had heard became reality and the WORD of GOD sunk in! We can't force others to instantly make a change in their lives but we can be the example of what that change would be like. Thank GOD that HIS SON gave HIS LIFE to FORGIVE ME.  There remains enough forgiveness for ALL who will BELIEVE. The cost is small, the reward great. Mistakes are a part of life; it is when we willingly turn to THE POWER of GOD that we begin to turn in the direction we are supposed to be traveling and not on a road trip to nowhere. Today we can make a difference, be a LIGHT to a DARKENED WORLD. May GOD bless you.

July 14 This past weekend my wife and I went to the Iowa speedway and watched the Indy car races. They turned laps at around 18 seconds onto 7/8th mile track. It was hard to keep track of what was going on! When we returned home, we would watch the recording of the race to have an understanding of why things happened. Just as in life things fly at us quickly. Storms hit, sadness and sorrow approach and pass so fast that we have no understanding. When we are able to watch the great replays from HEAVEN, things that we don't understand now will be made clear. For now, however, we must put our FAITH in GOD. Remember from Proverbs, "Curses chase sinners, while blessings chase the righteous." While life may pass by us as a blur of confusion, GOD will show the replay of what the truth is. GOD bless you.

July 13 "Oh how grateful and thankful, I am to the LORD, because HE is so good. I will sing praise to the name of the Lord who is above all." HE put us in charge of everything HE made! "All the sheep and oxen and wild animals, birds, fish and all the life in the sea. Oh LORD the majesty of YOUR name fills the earth." Yet YOU have made us but a little lower than the ANGELS. Why have YOU even bothered with puny man?  "The wicked shall be sent away to hell, this is the fate of all the nations forgetting the LORD." YOU alone are the JUDGE; may we keep YOUR life alive in ours. GOD bless you.

July 12 Protected by HIS shield of love, we can watch as the fools of the nations are in rage against the Lord. "How strange that men should try to outwit GOD." What puny plans, that are consumed by the fire of GOD'S word. If only their ears could hear, their eyes could see. The hearts of many become as stone, unable to absorb the message of CHRIST'S sacrifice, HIS love, if only we would listen. But no! Instead, we turn toward those things that GOD has warned us to stay away from. The self-centeredness that pulls away from GOD and piles upon us division and separation. Only the WORD of GOD can heal. There is only ONE truth in a world of artificial, JESUS CHRIST! Presenting GRACE to the world from the cross. It is our choice to accept or to reject. Open our eyes LORD and let us see the ways that are prepared toward GLORY. GOD bless you.

July 11 The days are becoming shorter. The seasons will once again change. Little by little, as though we would not notice. It is not one big jump, but a slight change each day. Onward we march toward fall. Then winter, till again the flowers bloom and the heat of summer regains its hold. The mysteries are slow and pre-ordained, much like the time of CHRIST'S set return. Onward we march to the days of our appointed time. Slowly it advances, nearly unnoticeable. But just as we know that the seasons will change and can watch as the signs are displayed before us, so is the approach of the RETURN. The steps are in place,  the time foretold, the march remains constant. Those who watch can see the approach, the tiny signals that point in ONE direction. Those who remain blind cannot understand. Just as we can watch the days shorten, the days to the appointed day advance. Will you be prepared? Will you be watching? The day of the LORD will not be postponed. May we be watching and ready when that shout is heard. EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW and EVERY TONGUE CONFESS that JESUS CHRIST is LORD. 

July 10 If I have put my trust in money,  if my happiness depends on wealth, it would mean that I denied the GOD of HEAVEN. For if the MAJESTY of GOD opposes me, what hope is there? Everything on earth is temporary. Nothing will last, only the KINGDOM of GOD will remain. If we cannot find joy in that, then our promise has become merely a hope, a wish, or pleasant thinking! To know what is coming will bring joy to some and fears to others. To be right with GOD cannot wait till the time is convenient for us. Turn our eyes toward JESUS and receive what this world will NOT deliver. Then GOD will bless you.

July 9 "I know that my REDEEMER lives and that HE will stand upon the earth at last. And I know that after this body has decayed, this body shall see GOD!" The words that Job spoke after losing it all! Yet he was confident that there was NOTHING that would be able to STOP GOD from REDEEMING his SOUL. For there is no GREATER POWER on earth or in HEAVEN by which men can be saved by the GRACE of GOD. The BLOOD of CHRIST was given that we may BELIEVE and be given LIFE ETERNAL. We to can say, I know my REDEEMER lives and when I die and the worms have feasted on my remains, I will see GOD. May you have the assurance of where your soul WILL spend ETERNITY. May GOD bless you.

July 8 Some days it just feels like things are against you. Today started like many others, but just as I headed out for my walk it began to rain. I couldn't go back to bed because I had put my sheets in the washer. So I just laid down and hoped for the best. The day had begun wrong, but soon after continuing in the BOOK of JOB, I decided I didn't have such a bad start to the day after all. Funny how we can let such small things ruin what is a perfectly good day. When left up to ourselves we can sink pretty deep but when someone else has a terrible day, we see that we are not so bad off. JOB lost everything nearly at the same time. The devil took his family, his wealth, his health. Yet he DIDN'T curse GOD. He questioned why, yet he continued in FAITH. And I thought I was upset? When we keep our eyes on GOD, we will never be lost. May GOD BLESS YOU.

July 7 We go through our daily life and seldom consider what GOD has done for us that day. I have seen people that should have died-live and some barely wounded-die. There is seldom the same result to a likely beginning! Our personal outcome is based within our own being and or FAITH.  Two men go through the day together, one complains and curses GOD. The other proclaims, "We have seen the hand of GOD at work today!" The same day with different outcomes. One mad at the world, the other happy and trusting GOD. LORD, help us to see YOUR HAND at work in our lives. Let us gather the fruits of the SPIRIT with THANKFULNESS and LOVE. Keep us from being managed by the one who destroys and PRAISE the ONE that is TRUE. May we see YOUR HAND in motion around us as we receive YOUR BLESSINGS. 

July 6 As American's we feel a sense of pride. We feel that we are strong, smart and sufficient. Our nation and its people stand for something and the world knows it. But as adults we should KNOW who is GOD and who is NOT god. We are an intelligent people. We should not follow the trends or be lured away by the mere images of others agendas. We have forgotten that we used to stand and pledge allegiance to this nation and to the GOD we believed in. Today those who would want to destroy have gathered with their allegiance to others and have assaulted our schools and streets. They have an agenda of confusion and lies. Attempting to draw away even the elite. We have not been transformed into mindless zombies! We have only become complacent and lazy, allowing the enemy to take a hold all around us. Remaining silent, we are obscure in the war being raged within even our own ranks! We should KNOW who is GOD and who is not. We have to be active, intelligent and resourceful. But above ALL we must TRUST in GOD.  GOD bless you.

July 5 Yesterday I went to collect my camera cards from the trail cameras. On several cameras were pictures of small fawns but on one camera there were pictures of a doe and her fawn every other day for 24 days.  At birth the newborn was standing and did not reach the height of the mother's 1st leg joint. In each photo you could plainly see the growth, until after 24 days the fawn was as tall as the mother's belly! What an astonishing growth! In a matter of 6months that little one will be 2/3rds the size of its mother and will have been taught how to survive. Wow! As I compare that to my growth as a BELIEVER in CHRIST, I am slow in my growth.  Can you imagine that if we grew in FAITH as that fawn, what our IMPACT would be on the NATION? We are slow to grow in some areas of life, yet always eager to do what is wrong. We watch the wrong things, say the wrong words and trust the wrong things way to easily. How I wish that as that fawn, I had one purpose on my mind. That I would concentrate solely on the ONE lesson in life that makes the difference. And grow as fast in FAITH as a fawn. Maturing to be self-assured, confident and TRUE to the GOD of the universe. May we take a lesson from nature and GROW in the LORD! So that everyone can WITNESS daily our GROWTH.  GOD bless you.

July 4th 2025 Oh how I thank GOD that I was born in the USA. Of all the nations, we are part of this world that has it better than ANY nation. We enjoy the gifts of GOD'S heart and can experience sights that only the ONE TRUE GOD can make. Those who want to shout death to America or believe that socialize would be the cure, should experience their world first hand and see that life, in a nation they envision to be better than what we are born into, is a broken mirror. To complain so bitterly is a marker of how non committed to our GOD our nation has become. Turning these thoughts toward other gods, that cannot see or hear or speak! THANK GOD that many are returning to HIM, acknowledging the HONOR of being placed within a nation so wonderful. We are the LUCKIEST people on earth! We can proudly say, "IN GOD WE TRUST." In GOD alone there is greatness, everything else will pass. May GOD BLESS YOU AND MAY YOU HONOR GOD for the abundance we have received.

July 3 Some days when I'm walking, the end seems so far away and each mile drags. I wonder if I will make it to the end or be found lying in the road. Each time I pass a certain point I thank GOD. Then, suddenly, I realize that I have passed a marker, the steps are easier, the distance becomes smaller. When we are searching GOD'S WORD, sometimes it becomes a labor, but when we keep at it; the chapters fly by. Keep putting one foot in front of the other and soon the journey is over. Keep reading and soon the WORD becomes reality before us. The wonders of GOD are transformed into living pillars of stone that we can see. Each day brings a new challenge to overcome. GOD'S lessons teach how to move forward, even in these days of trials. Be strong, march toward the everlasting and leave behind the story of GOD'S WITNESS. The days of labor are short, when we know ETERNITY is just ahead. GOD bless you.

July 2 Yesterday I noted a bit on the animal instincts and those of humans.  While walking, I thought of the one real difference between the animal kingdom and humans. We as humans have been either blessed or cursed with one thing that no other living thing has, the CHOICE to disobey GOD. No animal can think at a young birth,  "I wonder what this child will turn out to be. For the hand of the LORD is surely upon him in some special way." We can obey or disobey our GOD and develop into GLORIOUS BEINGS or into that which is to be burnt. That choice is ours alone. We were made a little above, other beings. But we CAN be at the lowest level by our OWN doing. May GOD help us choose wisely. GOD bless you.
