January 31 When my online shopping order was missing an item I was told to call a operator number. When the voice answered it said that it was an AI to handle such problems I wondered what was about to happen. The voice was kind and considerate and told me pleasantly that my missing idem was covered and that I could get a replacement, it also informed me that it could not do it. I asked several times how I could either get the item or a refund and each time it would say that I was covered by their policy, but it would not do either. After my frustration took over, I hung up on the nice AI voice. When we went to pick up this week's order, I told them which pickup spot we were at mentioned last week's missing item. When the person brought out the order I asked about the item and they knew nothing about it! However, before the order was loaded the manager ran out with the missing item in hand. Now I can see that no matter how pleasant we are, how much we listen and talk nicely, it is our actions that make the difference! LORD, make my actions be as yours, with kindness and speed, convincing the world that we really care and showing the same love that YOU would show. All that was missing was an 86 cent can of beans, yet it took one soul to make it right! What can we do each day that has greater value? GOD bless you.

January 30 Yesterday I had 3 meetings with people, of those 3, 2 asked about the discussion that had taken place the day before! And we talked a bit about it and it was good to know that "Since the LORD is directing our steps, why try to understand everything that happens along the way?"  I was shocked that there was not a rush to be taken from receiving the message and concluded that indeed we are, ALL TOGETHER a part of one body,  the body of CHRIST and each one is a separate but necessary part of it! TOGETHER we are a mighty force that can move mountains and fill valleys, preparing the way for GOD. Separate we can do nothing. It is GOD that does the great works within and around us. Though conflict may arise, GOD is the extinguisher of ALL the conflict. Unity in CHRIST will prevail over darkness. As soldiers in HIS army, we cannot be arguing amongst ourselves, but be equipped with the full amour of GOD that is available to us and fight together.  May GOD bless you.

January 29 Wow! Let me clarify the intent of yesterday's message. Any CHRISTIAN BIBLE contains more truth than the internet! Period! If you have trouble with that then perhaps, we believe that dogs drive Subarus.  Since I cannot read or understand Hebrew. I must rely on a translation. And if I am going to hell for not reading the correct translation, then I will join those who sought GOD'S favor before any pages were written. To those whose phones were tied up with 'debate', yesterday, I am sorry for the reaction of yesterday's message. To those who wish to be removed from this list of contacts. Please let me know and I will regretfully take you off. Please read 1st Corinthians 9: 22-23 and remember what the GOOD NEWS IS! That if you believe in your heart and say with your mouth that JESUS CHRIST is LORD, you will be saved! And your FAITH will be followed by actions and the gifts that are given by the HOLY SPIRIT! Of these we cannot dispute! Thank you for your FAITH in GOD. Thank you to those who pass on the message of salvation, regardless of what translation we read. Thank you for being a good servant of CHRIST!  I am reminded of the game we played as children, line-up a number of people and tell the next in line a statement and see what that statement is at the end of the line! No matter how 'holy' the people are it is different. Each disciple had a different view of the same event. GOD can end this message as easily as it started some 9 years ago. It is not my thing, it is to benefit ALL. May GOD bless the reading of HIS WORD. 

January 28 "If you're looking for advice, stay away from fools!"  One of the Proverbs that should be more often followed in today's society! I was looking up data on the internet, we used to use an encyclopedia and when I checked out the information that I found, only 50 percent was correct!  That means that half was a lie! How can we believe any of it if only half is the truth? To many are taking what they hear as the 'gospel truth' and not even questioning it! Even the people checked Paul's preaching to the BIBLES facts. How have we become so lazy and believe what itchy ears want to hear? Before we take a stand on what we believe, shouldn't we know what it is? I watch people's minds change back and forth like the ocean tides and it does not show 'wisdom'. If you know the WORD or just beginning to, take the time to check the thought against the TRUTH and stay away from the foolishness! May GOD be with you.

January 27 On the inside I feel 25, from the outside I have become a gray-haired fat man with ailments that dampen the spirit. I want to listen to the younger part, but he often puts pain into the older. The 'happy medium' has become too far separated. "The good shall never lose GOD'S BLESSINGS, but the wicked shall lose everything." So as I try to be good, the evil sometimes takes over and when it does the loss is great! The battles of good vs evil, seem to never end. The wisdom to see the loss comes with age. So, time is not a loss but a gain! The eternal futures vision becomes clearer even as my sight wains. Perhaps that wisdom is worth the physical loss? With the best in the past, the future could look dim, but the contrary is true, for what I can see ahead is worth the temporary troubles. The eternal rest, of youth again taking hold. Not for a moment but for an eternity. Living by GOD'S power and not our own. May GOD bless each with one more day to change one more life. Our world today needs a voice of truth to awaken the spirit of life. 

January 26 I went for a walk yesterday even though it was cold and windy. I was surprised how comfortable I was and how quickly the miles passed. As I walked, I thought how blessed I have been. And as I thought more about those blessings, I realized the greatness of GOD. The past has been lost in the blur of time, but the events of today are the enlightment of HIS HAND upon us. Those who refuse HIM are blind to the way into HIS house, those who believe and live HIS way are given an assurance of what is to come. Through the chaos of today, tomorrows glory shines. The actions of man have been recorded long ago, the fate of mankind, was written many years ago. Yet the lost march toward the doom that awaits. COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS. The future remains in GOD'S hand. May GOD be with you.

January 25 "Oh LORD, shouldn't I hate those who hate you? Shouldn't I be grieved by them?"  As I saw yet another 'protest' on tv, I noticed how orderly and respectful the participants were. Walking on the route, talking to each other, smiling, very little coverage by the media.  This was the scene at a walk against abortion. Incomparison, there was no pushing, swearing and violent actions! Thank GOD there are people that can act responsibly! One group defending GOD'S plan, the other defying GOD. One peaceful the other in chaos. But isn't that what GOD'S WORD says? Unfortunately, the 'silent majority' looks the other way. Let GOD dictate how you act, while the enemies forces try to conquer the good. "Let their attacks turn back upon themselves. Let GOD be your guide, not man." It becomes easy to see who is 'right'. May GOD bless you.

January 24 My friend, who had a liver transplant, texted me and said that it was the worst thing that he has ever been a part of. He wondered if he was going to 'make it' through. That made me wonder how those injured in the civil war who were treated without anesthetic felt? Arms or legs being cut off while they were awake! That makes me cringe even after having teeth pulled without Novocain. But this guy has had more happen to him than most!  He knows adversity! He will also admit that GOD has brought him through many adverse things! And that this too will be one more in that list. Why? Because he will be the first to give GOD the GLORY, not man. Job went through horrible times, but he DID NOT GIVE UP ON GOD! Satan kept piling troubles on, but Job did not break. These times of trial are but temporary, the day will come that there will be GLORY to GOD. That's what we are supposed to do. And since there are those who must sustain more than we do, we should be glad that GOD has seen fit to allow us to be free. We all should be thankful, but there are those who receive that special blessing. GOD has blessed us in many ways. HE alone deserves the GLORY even today.

January 23 When will it all end? That question flashes through my mind every time I see an advertisement to invest our money into gold, silver or other metals. While aluminum sells for less than 3 cents an ounce and gold at over $3500 an ounce, who dictates its value? Would we wrap our beverages in gold or platinum? Each metal, just as each human, has its own uses, we are all of equal value at the positions that GOD has called us to bare. CHRIST has proven HIMSELF to be of great value and we are charged with the POWER to imitate HIS ACTIONS. We prove ourselves worthy of an eternal value with each passing day. When our time has ended, we can be confirmed as worth great value or only fuel to be added to the fire of hell. Our true value is calculated by the FAITH and DEEDS we do while living on this earth. We can transform from dust to gold or gold to dust while we live, simply by our FAITH. We are each capable of great value! May GOD bless you.

January 22 As the hunting season nears its end, I reflect. The Amish boys that got their first deer, the traditional archer that started his own tradition, the old timers that were once again 'good enough' to harvest another animal. We may feel 'skilled' but the fact remains that GOD has blessed us in a wonderful way. HE allows each to feel proud to see who gives thanks. HE gives time for practice, patience and good weather when its needed. HE is in control while we think we are! Thank you, GOD, for those beautiful days we spent afield. The wonders you showed us. The gifts that YOU provided. Not by our own skill or might, but by YOUR GLORY and STRENGTH. Our hope is that the 9 months ahead pass quickly so that we are once again in YOUR hands. May GOD bless you.

January 21 We often are so involved with our own lives that we forget those we have met along the way. Last night I dreamt of many of those that I have met in the last 8 years or so. They are such interesting people that I can talk to them for hours. They are very important to me. It is the LORD that has brought us together in such a wonderful way. HE has opened the doors that manage the placement of man and allowed us to meet, even when surrounded by wilderness! It is good to be able to pass on the WORD that GOD has placed on our lips and pass along the miracles that HE gives to us. "Rejoice and give thanks to the LORD GOD, for HE gives us all that is good."  As you go through your day, remember those good times and thank GOD. May GOD bless you.

January 20 The other day, while watching the news, I witnessed what I thought was a third world country having riots! But no, it was in the US! I thought, congratulations, we have joined the likes of a nation that is completely abandoned of GOD! What a sight we must be to the other 'civilized' nations! The reminds of the 70s raced through my head and the turmoil that was encompassed in it. Thank GOD there is more talk about GOD than free love or things of that nature. Man, often takes the path of sin when he has the choice, it takes will power to stand for what is right, there seems to be little of that! Less than .001 percent of the people are involved in these protests. Take away the media and on lookers and only a few remain. Are Christians also only providing 'a show?' We cannot afford to be 'a show', but need to be a faithful follower of the WORD. What do you stand for? Can others see the true version, or just a show? May GOD bless you.

January 19 I received a message from my sister, that one of our aunt's had passed away. It would seem that the older generation is nearly gone and the next is aligning to take its place. With white hair, false teeth, hearing aids and canes we replace the passing generations for a few moments before our children replace us. Though there generations of mankind, the words stubborn, rebellious, unfaithful ring out. From the moment Adam and Eve disobeyed GOD, we have continually been smitten by sin. And 'the wages of sin is death'. Our days on earth are numbered, we will indeed return to 'the dust from which we came', but our soul will live forever, in a new body! Those who will BELIEVE on JESUS CHRIST will join HIM in paradise, those who fail to recognize HIM will find themselves lost, away from GOD'S GRACE, in torture forever. We pass through our time here so quickly, but eternity is endless. Where are you preparing to spend forever? Prepare today for the life ahead. GOD bless you.

January 18 In August of 2018 I met a man who has responded to me nearly every day since. We sometimes talk for long periods like teenagers. However, he underwent surgery on Monday and even though I have heard from his wife, it just isn't the same. We form bonds that we can never understand with people here on earth. And when we think that there may be a problem, we become concerned. But our real concern should be on our eternal home and the eternal place for those we love! "Oh GOD, you know how stupid I am and YOU know all my sins. DON'T let me be a stumbling block to those who trust YOU. Don't let me cause them to be confused." Rather let my PRAISE to YOU, be a building block that raises the foundation toward eternal GLORY to GOD. As we draw near to man, let us become even closer to GOD. 

January 17 This one thing I know, GOD is for me! My GOD is changeless in HIS love for me! HE will send down help from HEAVEN to save me. HE will rescue me. GOD from everlasting ages past, will answer my calls. HE tells us that there is coming a day of wrath, when HE will be the judge over all the world and HE will give each what he deserves. How I have deserved his punishment! Far too long not heeding HIS TRUTHS. But in my own glory I saw that HIS SON gave HIS life that I could be saved! Who would do that?  "FAITH without actions is dead." Help me to work for YOUR kingdom and not the kingdom of this world. We no longer have time to work on our own accord; we must work toward HIS return. GOD bless you.

January 16 Oh my goodness, I thought, its 7:30!  Isn't it funny that in all the chaos, sickness and disasters of this world GOD can create a moment in time when it all disappears and rest is given to us! Through all the agony there is a time of comfort! The night of sleep was sorely welcome! Moments after waking the coughing began again, but for a while, silence, even my wife was not coughing, what a wonder.  Too often I forget to be thankful for those blessings that are provided. Sometimes small and other times large, but 'all good things come from above' while the bad comes to test us as it did Job. Darkness can overcome only if we allow it to! Keep GOD in our life. May GOD'S BLESSINGS be visible in your life. 

January 15 King David wrote his thoughts in Psalms 36 about the FAITHFUL and those who do not believe. A truth to believers says, "You feed them blessings from your own table and let them drink from your rivers of delight."  Indeed, our light is from YOUR LIGHT, our darkness is contrived of hell. We must TRUST our GOD, be DELIGHTED with our LORD, and COMMIT EVERYTHING we do to HIM. That alone brings HEAVEN to earth! We can enjoy and live with heaven or hell right where we are! We cannot wait for heaven when it is all around us! We can see hells displays of assurance every day. Let me quote, "I have been young and now I am old.  And in all my years I have never seen the LORD for sake a man who loves him, nor have I seen the children of the GODLY go hungry."  Can the same be said for the god of the godless? Satan delights in the sorrow of those who would follow him! When would do such a thing? We have a choice each day to live in HEAVEN or HELL, WE CAN'T JUST WAIT! May GOD bless you as much as my grandson has blessed me today! I am already in heaven. GOD bless you.

January 14 After going to the Doctors office she told me that I had bronchitis and prescribed pills. Then around 7:30 last night, the nurse called and said that I had covid. When I asked if there was any medication change, she said no, that I was to quarantine myself for 5 days and wear a mask for 5 days after that. I almost laughed when I thought about it. The world was sent into a tailspin and schools and business were shut down and thats the remedy, stay away for 5 days? Today my wife has to go in and be tested and she is beyond mad. And because she exhibits the same symptoms I have, I question that she would not test the same, but we will see. I have but little faith in the medical communities but I do have FAITH in GOD. HE can heal anything and HE is the ONE we turn to when we need comfort. No other can give the reassurance that GOD can. Why trust anyone else? In our lives we face many road blocks and detours, but GOD is the only navigator that we need. May GOD bless you through this maze we call life. 

January 13 This morning with a sore throat, dizzy and aching I walked by the window and saw a beautiful sunrise. It made these verses really stand out. "The heavens are telling the GLORY of GOD, they are a marvelous display of HIS craftmanship. Day and night they keep on telling us about GOD. Without a single sound or word, silent in the skies, their message reaches out to all the world." May our spoken words and unspoken thoughts be pleasing to the LORD, our rock and redeemer. GOD bless you.

January 12 "The wicked shall be sent away to hell, that is the fate of all nations forgetting the LORD." David was so upset with both himself and the nation that he would go to GOD weeping. When was the last time that we prayed and wept to GOD for HIS favor? Too often we just say a few words and then drift off into thoughts of our own. " Oh, how grateful and thankful I am to the LORD because HE is so GOOD. SING PRAISES to the NAME of the LORD who is above ALL." May we to take the time to speak with GOD in such a way as to be humbled in HIS presence. GOD bless you.

January 11 Wouldn't you know that one day after I told my wife that "I never get sick", I would come down with a sore throat and a cough! It is plain to see that i am not the one in charge! But I know that this will pass because I have seen the miracles that GOD has provided through answered prayer. As a friend of mine is going to have a liver transplant tomorrow, our community needs to once again enter into the JOY that GOD will provide the way. Stand before the LORD in awe! Put your TRUST in the LORD. HE alone provides, for those who love HIM are filled with GLADNESS. May GOD'S BLESSING be on those who have FAITH. GOD bless you.

January 10 "But the leaders were jealous and incited some worthless fellows to form a mob and start a riot."  Even though it sounds like the news of today's reports, this statement was made during Paul's time of preaching. It would seem however that the enemy's tactics have remained constant for many, many years! For he knows that humans that ignore GOD will love to argue and indeed follow any whimsical thing because they fail to recognize the true GOD. My heart is saddened that mankind will disregard what is real and yet grab onto what is false. TRUTH remains in GOD and disseat and lies are the tools of satan. Our enemy is not the flesh and blood around us, but the one who is at battle with GOD! There are numberless multitudes at war with GOD'S WORD, just as the BIBLE tells us there will be. However, GOD will be the victor. Do not be misled by the world and the chaos within it. FAITHFULLY follow the commands of GOD. 

January 9 This morning I read these words, "If GOD were to withdraw HIS SPIRIT, all life would disappear and mankind would turn again to dust." There is no hope without GOD. There is no other way to HEAVEN except through JESUS CHRIST, who was sent by GOD to be our redeemer and HOPE. Without GOD there is nothing. HE is our hope in sickness, our direction when we are lost, our friend when we are alone. GOD is everything! Yet we forget HIM when we are glad or have a full belly or when we have no worries. We forget that, "GOD carefully watches the goings on of ALL MANKIND, HE sees them ALL!"  Have you recognized GOD? Has HE received your THANKS? Today we have the opportunity to open our lives to GOD, HE has the power to return us to dust. Give GOD the GLORY HE DESERVES.  

January 8 We were recently given a new stove and when we pulled the old one, out of its place there was quite a collection of dirt, lint, and cat toys beneath it. No matter how clean the floor was on the outside underneath was a mess! When I was cleaning it up, I thought how my life was no different! I kept the outside looking clean while under neath it was covered with dirt. It took the BLOOD of CHRIST JESUS to clean the outside and beneath, where things are not seen. And at times I must go back and cleanse to make sure those 'dust bunnies' and old M and M's, are wiped away. I am sure that we all have those places that are filthy and I also know that GOD will clean them. We may need to help keeping those corners clean, but GOD is right here to help us. There is nothing that HE cannot clean or forgive when we ask. May GOD bless you.

January 7 "They say that night is day and day is night, how they have perverted the truth!"  And why not? They are far from GOD. They perish in shame and humiliation. Their words are heard as but wind passing through the trees, but still the world tries to deceive more. Too many fail to know that after the body dies, they will see GOD, to be condemned or accepted. The proof of our FAITH is how we live today! Our future is not the promises that we make for tomorrow but what we do today. We cannot say one thing and do another; we must put our FAITH and actions together. Wars and rumors of war are broadcast every day, our future is in GOD'S WORD, if we want to believe it or not, it will happen. Take the time to make a choice. Do not follow the blind.  May GOD bless you.

January 6 "A man without GOD is trusting in a spider's web. Everything he counts on will collapse." There is no hope for those who do not believe. When sickness strikes the first thought is toward GOD, but where were our thoughts during the good times? Too often we have forgotten HIM during those times. Today our world has become sick and filled with sin and greed, our only hope is GOD. Left without HIM, we will destroy ourselves and those around us. We think too highly of ourselves and too little of the POWER of GOD. A man without GOD is trusting in a spider's web. There is proof in the BLOOD of the LAMB. Though everything will collapse, the WORD of GOD will remain. May GOD be with us.

January 5 Anyone who has heard the McDonald's jingle knows exactly what is on a big mac sandwich. Anyone who has read the BOOK of Esther knows that the plan of Haman to destroy the Jews failed and what became of Haman and his sons. There are a few things in life that seem to last in our minds for a long time. When we listen to GOD'S WORD it does not leave us, it remains within our mind. Just as many can recite the ingredients on a big mac, we can also remember the miraculous stories we heard in BIBLE school as a youth. GOD'S WORD is eternal. The world makes attempts to erase it from our minds, but given the right spark, the memories return. Plant what is eternal, GODS WORD. 

January 4 I recently heard James Brown, the football announcer say, "Trust GOD to call the plays of your life!"  All too often we let the things around us dictate how we act, what we say and what we do. We over look what GOD is asking us to do. When Ester was asked to act by FAITH and questioned what to do, she was told that "God has brought you into this place for just such a time as this!" At that; she reacted in FAITH. We are no different, we are here for just such a time as this. If we remain silent then GOD will have to raise up another to do our job. In that time it takes the whole society of the faithful could be initiated. Our future looks much the same as it did for Ester, our faithful actions matter. Don't be benched because you are not performing. Run the play that GOD has drawn for your life.  GOD bless you.

January 3rd The new year has brought a new excitement to our horizon, but also a heart disturbing reality. As mayors of some of the large cities were sworn in, my heart was broken and disturbed. I can remember a democratic party that was anti-abortion and stood up for what was right! And in the 50 years since that, it has become the driving force of communism in our country. It makes me wonder if we will last another 50 years. GOD has allowed people to once again 'find their own way' and as always mankind turns away from GOD. If 59 percent of the U.S. believes in GOD as the polls say, then we are a no caring batch of idiots; that let others decide our fate. I can see blind men leading another blind on the path of destruction, yet they will not hear. GOD has deafened and blinded us to follow as we see fit! One can see the narrow way becoming narrower. Open our mouths and let us speak the TRUTHS of GOD in the hopes of a revival away from sin and self and toward GOD. Darkness creeps even into the light as the fire goes out. Rekindle the SPIRIT of GOD in our lives. May GOD bless you.

January 2 With another year upon us, we once again have the opportunity to make those 'New Year Resolutions" that we break so easily. Many are thoughtless and whimsical but some are made in all seriousness. However, most are broken. Several years ago; I decided to make sure that one tenth of each day was spent in reading the WORD of GOD. It was an enormous task to undertake for me. It required shutting off any distractions and following through, it was not easy! After a while it became a necessary part of the day, a reason to get up early and spend time in the WORD. There is an hour and a half in the morning and an hour each evening that I look forward to every day. The beginning was not without struggle, the road rocky and difficult, the endless journey well worth the effort. If you have made a 'new year's resolution' stick with it, each day battle through the many reasons to go astray, and soon it will become a way of your new life. Make it worth your while. GOD bless you this entire New Year and give a new desire to follow HIM. Enjoy the life that GOD has GIVEN and PRAISE HIM in all things. GOD bless you.

January 1st As the college football playoffs are underway there is a sobering fact that has become apparent. The teams that were rated high and had a bye are all losing to the lower ranked teams that had to play in the first round! Because one team had been active and the other idol they had lost the competitive edge. We can easily loose our edge when we neglect reading our BIBLES or PRAYING. When we are not active in the WORD we begin to drop behind and if we were to continue that trend satan would have an advantage to our defeat! Stay or become on guard and armed for the daily battles, keep GOD'S WORD active in your life, if we don't we give satan an advantage.  May GOD bless you.

December 31st HE died to give us life. HE shed HIS BLOOD to allow us to choose the way to live. Yesterday I received a request for prayer for the granddaughter of a dear friend. I asked for prayer from many of my close friends and the response was overwhelming. Today we ask you to pray for healing, just as CHRIST would have us to do, in HIS name. As I lay awake last night thinking of how CHRIST laid down HIS life for mankind, I was humbled with the results of how many would trade our lives for the lost. There is calmness in knowing that there is more than the here and now. That ETERNITY is forever and that this life is so short. Our job is to let others know there is a way to eternal life beyond the grave. Our responsibility is to try and keep people out of hell! A war rages around us in the form of doubt and fear, we must overcome the blockage of this life to open the gates of the next. Through prayer we each can speak to GOD letting HIM know the desires of our heart. Having our heart in connection with HIS will, is our only concern. May GOD be with each of us.

December 30 If we look around, we will notice the many acts of GOD that happen to us or in our lives! John wrote, "JESUS disciples saw him do many other miracles besides the ones talked about in this book, but these are recorded so that you will believe that HE is the MESSIAH. The SON of GOD, and that believing in HIM you will have life."  Should we record all the things that were done for us by GOD, we to would have an undeniable record of HIS actions in our life time. There are numerous notes in my BIBLE that record what GOD has done, both TO and AROUND me. Each time that I glance at those notes I can see that HE has and continues to be ALIVE. Some are not great, but some are undeniable PROOF of HIS works yet today. Do you have a story to tell? I BELIEVE we each do. GOD bless you.

December 29 When we went to Church yesterday it was 43 degrees but after we had returned home the wind began to blow frow the NW and this morning it is windy and 11 degrees ! It makes me excited to see what GOD can do even if I am not excited with the outcome. The same is true in our lives, we experience all the things that happen and often do not see GOD'S hand at work in it. We are too shallow in our thinking; we only see the effects on ourselves! While that change in weather affects us all with cold here, in other parts of the world they receive the opposite. Yet who thanks GOD for any of it? Each day is a gift from GOD, good or as bad as Job experienced. We are tested to remove the impurities from our lives. It remains up to us to use each day to give GOD GLORY.  We may not know why things happen as they do. But we are not the master. There is only one CREATOR! Do you know HIM? May GOD bless you.

December 28 "The worlds sin is unbelief in me; JESUS told his disciples." Today the world remains in unbelief, it is shown by its actions their unbelief and willingness to follow the darkness instead of the LIGHT! Yesterday I received a call from a former coworker and we reencountered our past. To look back makes me wonder how the GRACE of GOD was ever given to such a person that I. But that's the very reason that CHRIST was sent. To redeem a world that was lost in sin. The LORD also left us these words, "Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows, but cheer up, for I have overcome the world."  HE was sent to gather those who would believe unto HIM, to be forgiven we must follow His example and do what the FATHER has made us to do, HIS work and not our own. We can look back on our past and rejoice that our sight has been set on things that are greater than this world. Or we can remain in

December 27 Each time that I read through the books that describe the kings of both Israel and Judah, I am struck by the way the country prospers or declines by their FAITH in GOD! When they follow GOD they prosper, when they turn to idol worship, they are over taken by their enemy's. It doesn't take a long time to turn the tides, only a few years. They never seemed to learn and grasp the idea that GOD is in charge. Today we enjoy modern convenances that they never dreamt of, yet we are following the same old thought processes that they did! We turn toward GOD for a few years and reap a benefit, then turn away and fall again. How long does it take man to understand? Do we ever get it? We exchange GOD'S promises for a moment, just as they did centuries ago, and if our species should last much longer, man will continue to fall from the GRACES of GOD BECAUSE of their FAITH. Help us to accept HIS WORD and live in HIS guidance. May GOD bless you.

December 26 "Peace on earth, good will to men" should not end the day after its celebration, but should continue in our hearts and actions. The difference between the world and the saved is the message the day after HIS birth. We received a new TV and surround sound, and it changes the whole experience to the point that we watch movies that we have already watched because it gives a different feeling. We also shut it off when it's time to read GOD'S WORD, as that gives a better and clearer picture of our future. Our life's experiences are linked to HIS WORD through the BIBLE. Each time we read it we can see and hear, clearer the picture of what is ahead. Can you see what lays ahead in your eternity? The sounds of division rage around us, but can we hear the whisper of GOD through its chaos? There remains an eternal future ahead for us all, can you see your path and destination? "Joy to the world, the SAVIOUR reigns."  GOD bless you.

December 25 Today a child was born, to take away the sins of the world. That whoever would believe that HE is the SON of God will not be lost, but will live. For HIS power is to give life in all its fullness. The thief's purpose is to steal, kill, and destroy. Rejoyce that we have been given the opportunity to follow the LORD and not be swallowed up by the thief! The nations shout with gladness during the season of HIS birth, for we cannot remain silent. MERRY CHRISTMAS rings through the nation reminding us of the gift of eternal life to all who would accept it! GOD BLESS those who have taken on the challenge of living for CHRIST, showing that there truly is a GOD that gave HIS SON for our salvation. HE LOVES US SO VERY MUCH. December 24 The day of CHRIST'S birth is nearly upon us! It is up to each of us to let GOD reign supreme over the holidays and not the world's view. We can begin anew as those who are 'born again' in the image of GOD. Doing HIS will on earth while we are here. We cannot allow ourselves to be comfortable here, as this is not our home. We will all be moving on to the eternal life that we deserve. Let us show the world that there is more to life than self. Just as JESUS was born into this world to be a light, we to must stand as part of that eternal flame, for HIM. May this season bring joy to the world, as a child was born, a son was given. GOD bless you.

December 23 "Why has the LORD GOD done such a horrible thing to us," people cry. Why has our strong nation become such a place of chaos and division? The answer remains just as it was given so many years ago. "Because the people abandoned the LORD GOD of their fathers and they have worshiped other gods instead." The heart-breaking news that follows our departure from GOD can only be our responsibility. We must return, or the doom is certain! The promise to us has been written and the witnesses to it effects, have passed throughout history. Yet we fail to learn from our own mistakes. Does only doom await us? Or can we return to the GOD of our fathers? Our time will tell! May GOD give wisdom to see our failure.

December 22 The late muzzle loader/archery season started today and runs until January 10. An Amish boy asked if I would take him hunting and of course I agreed. I asked what days he would want to go and he went through a whole list of things that he was going to do, almost all were volunteer things that he wanted to do. So out of the 3-week bonus season we found 1 day that he could go with me!  I am so impressed by the young man's commitment to helping others over his own wants. It isn't very often that we see such involvement today. "Not because I have to, but because I want to," was his reply. May GOD help us to see beyond our own wants and realize the needs of others. And then help them, just as the Amish boy. GOD bless you.

December 21 Some may say, and others foolish enough to believe, that GOD will not condemn people to hell. They deliberately forget that the entire world was destroyed because it had turned away from GOD and loved sin! Or that the towns of Sodom and Gomorrah were also destroyed because they too were filled with sin. Take a moment and look at our nation. Is it worthy of salvation today as it was 200 years ago? Have we become closer to GOD or have we allowed satan to work into our culture, bringing us to the brink of judgement for unbelief and following other gods? We are certainly not better off as a nation in the direction we have been heading! What does it take to turn such a lost society back to its roots? Just the reminder of what has been lost should do that. But without turning again to GOD and repenting of our sin we remain lost. Show the GLORY of GOD by the change in your life, when our lives are opened to GOD. There is nowhere to hide from the wrath that awaits those who deny HIM. May GOD bless you.

December 20 Yesterday while visiting my former boss, there was another former employee that was also visiting him. As we talked and exchanged ideas and thoughts, we talked about what work my friend had done. He sent me a picture of a door he had installed and it was very nice. However, beside it was a door that had lost its paint and was broken down. I thought, why didn't they replace it as well? Then thinking this, there are two doorways to eternity, one that is bright and shiny and leads to eternal life, the other broken down from use leading to destruction. Yet no one pays attention. They enter through a doorway leading to death, while right beside it, a door to LIFE remains!  Open our eyes to see what is eternal and help us to enter through the doorway of ETERNAL LIFE. Thank you for providing a path to YOUR side through YOUR SON JESUS CHRIST. May GOD open our hearts to accept the FAITH and see the doorways ahead. GOD bless you.

December 19 Yesterday the temperature reached the 40's and it rained most of the morning and the snow quickly disappeared. Later in the afternoon began a heavy wind from the north and by evening it had turned into flurries and dived to 18 degrees. What a day of changes in the weather! As the wind was blowing, I couldn't help but think of David's song verse, "Let the trees in the woods sing for joy before the Lord." And we are to, "Declare each day that HE is the ONE who saves! Show HIS GLORY to the nations! Tell everyone about HIS miracles. For the LORD is great and should be highly PRAISED."  The next time you hear the wind blowing through the trees, hear the JOY they are expressing to GOD, then we can also show our joy through PRAISE. December 18 If Adam is responsible for the sin of everyone after him, then we are responsible for those after us! We each teach the next generation to follow in the way we act, believe and live. Our actions teach the next generation to live in sin and the next and the next. We need to take a stand to reverse the effects of sin in our family's. GOD will provide the circumstances for us to prove our FAITH and show the way. Philippians 1:27 says, "Be sure to live in a way that brings honor to the Good news of Christ."   Be creditable so that others take CHRIST as creditable. GOD bless you.

December 17 In the 1950's a cars dashboard was made of metal, not the padded material that it is today. And the safety belt was mothers' arm that stretched out to keep you from losing your teeth when the car stopped abruptly! Simply growing up was an act of GOD. We look at all the lifesaving inventions and do not see the full impact that they truly have made. We also fail at times to see the miracles that GOD has performed in our lives. We just accept them and forget them. There has been at least 5 times that my life could have been cut short. The reason that I remain has indeed been a mystery, but I believe it has been spared for the sole purpose of telling others of GOD'S GRACE of giving us a way to live through JESUS CHRIST'S death. That plan is done each day via the hand-held device that you are now looking at. If you do not know JESUS, we need to talk. Our lives can be saved by the loving nail pierced hand that extends to us even today. Reach out and grab ahold. GOD bless you.

December 16 Yesterday I learned that my sister had to make one of those decisions that many pet owners must make. It is a heart wrenching and tearful time, one that we hate to endure. It was during one of those times that I thought how gut wrenching it must be for GOD to make that decision for our eternity. HE created us in HIS image, gave every opportunity to us to follow HIM, provided us with everything we need to make the right choices and yet many fail! GOD has told us that HE would judge us fairly and HE will. But imagine the pain in doing so. It will give no pleasure to destroy that part of HIS creation. The hopes and wonders of HIS children dashed by satans power to draw them away. The test remains before us who are present today, to change our ways and repent before our time expires. We can only imagine the pain in the experiences that we endure. We connect with so many things here on earth, but we must remain connected to the one who made us. May GOD comfort those in this time of sorrow. May HE bless us with the joy of tomorrow. May our eternal gratefulness be to GOD for allowing those moments of companionship. GOD bless you.

December 15 What foolishness you believe I was told. That reminded me of Psalms 14 and Psalms 53, both relay the same words, "only a fool would say there is no GOD."  The foolishness' I have found is trusting upon myself! Because I will always choose to do wrong! With GOD I am more likely to choose correctly. It is when I want to do my own thing that I begin to alter my 'wisdom' and give into satan. Today we see satan entering men from coaches to sons. There is a wide-open door to the temptations of the world. The fool is the one who believes that there is no cost at the end! 'Only a fool would say there is no GOD' don't be a fool! Allow GOD to bless you.

December 14 Our offensive weapon is GOD'S WORD. Satan knows GOD and has spoken with GOD. He knows GOD'S WORD is powerful, yet he thinks that he is more in charge. He believes that he knows more than GOD, but can never attain it. How often do we go at this life just as satan does? Thinking that we are in charge when we are not. The more we attempt to control our lives, the more like satan we become! Only through GOD'S WORD can we transform the culture around us. We don't have to do it ourselves; GOD is there to help and to guide. Break away from the slavery of satan and reach for THE hand that will save. May GOD bless you.

December 13 The tax collector's prayer was simply, "GOD be merciful to me a sinner." But it was from his heart and not just word games. David would plead with GOD to become more united with HIM.  Today we can see a world that is closer to Sodom and Gamora than ever before. We have forgotten what it looks like when demons take control. People are arrested for doing things that they never would have done. We are drawn into a way of thinking that is not of the LORD'S and fail to see the way. All because we have lost sight of the WORD and the LIGHT of the WORLD. We have thought that we can control ourselves, but we cannot! We have set aside GOD for our own pleasures! And look at our gain. Have mercy on me a sinner, let me gain FAITH daily, let me fight off the demons that attack, let me seek YOU above all else. Only doom awaits the proud, may GOD bless those who approach on their knees.

December 12 As I was reading the story of Lazarus and the rich man, I am struck by 2 things. The first is that when the rich man found himself in torment, the first thing he asked for was a touch of water! Now I know how thirsty I am when I waken at night, and that is not in torment! And second, the rich man wanted Lazarus to go warn his brothers of the torment ahead. But Abraham's reply was, "The scriptures have warned them again and again."  The rich man's reply was, "They won't bother to read them!" We can realize that dire situation today. The lack of reading GOD'S WORD and the warnings that are enclosed within it. Plus, the failure to believe those who have been risen from the dead! Such a mean state that has taken over our times. All we can do is be a messenger to those we meet and pray that they will receive lasting comfort. May GOD help us.

December 11 GOD has spoken to every one of us! But how do you hear what GOD is saying to you if you have not done anything with what HE has said? That small voice within that speaks what to do and you know it's the right thing, is often ignored while the devil whispers those
